One of my best friends passed away this morning. Dorene Belli was one of the funniest persons I have even come across. With all the stuff that was wrong with her she never complained. I first met her when she started coming to our Disability support group many years ago that was held every Tuesday at the Schaumburg Township. She used to be a nurse at the Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village but had to go on disability because of her illness.
Here is a picture of us out on a luncheon date several years ago. We were all such good friends and she always kept us laughing. Dorene is on the far right. I am in the middle and Linda who is another good friend is on the left. I am so sad that she has left us. She was a wonderful girl.
