A Day in My Life
May 1st
Illinois mandates that everybody in Illinois has to wear a mask in public. So
today I went to the bank to pay all my bills. I put on my mask and walk up to
the bank. The bank is locked. I get in my car and use the drive up. I get my
money and go to the post office. It’s a good thing that Target made me buy some
masks because one guy tried to walk in without a mask and they would not let
him in. As soon as I got in the car I took off my mask. I don’t know how it
happened but somehow my hearing aid got caught up in my mask and I lost it. I
retraced my steps and after about 20 minutes thank god I found it. I would
surely hate to lose that. I hate those masks. I can’t breathe in those things.
My dealer emails me today and asked if I was
still looking for a car. Since it is the beginning of May, I asked him if they
had any new incentives this month. He said, “Looks like rebates are still the
same. How is the down payment looking?” I told him, “I got my down payment up to
$1,500.” His reply was “Okay, I think the best thing to wait until payments are
up that way we aren't rolling anything over.” So I guess I’ll see what happens
going into June.
With the Corona virus “Stay at Home Order”, I
have to get my exercise. After I got through doing my bills, I did my exercises.
I live in a 5 story condo building. I walk down each hallway and then go up to
the next floor until I reach the 5th floor and then repeat it all
the way down again. I do this 6 days out of a week. I sure wish everything
would open up again so I could get back to my Community Recreation Center where
they have all the machines and I can be with people once again. Man am I
getting fat. I have been eating too much.
