There was this colorful old cart in the pasture.
This was a small lake but the summers heat spell dried it up. Notice the pier at the other end
I use to sit on this bench overlooking the lake. You could see the fish swimming around
This use to be the entrance to the farmers property before he gave it to township for a nature preserve
I saw these pretty purple flowers as I walked along the trails
There are many Memorial Benches through out the nature preserve
It was in the 70's and the sky's were blue
I walked around the lake and walked out on the pier. No water though. I wonder how long it will take before it is back to normal?

What a gorgeous day for a walk. It was so quiet and peaceful. I only wish I had someone to share it with

I started heading back but I turned around to take one more picture of the fields
I got a close up of some of the flowers that were blooming along the path that I was on
I took a few more steps and I saw more flowers alongside the path
As I looked closer at the flowers, I saw this funny looking critter sitting inside a flower. I had been walking for a little over a hour so decided to go home. I'm so glad I got out and took a walk
