Meet Dan Rutherford Our New Governor for 2014

I met Illinois State Treasure Dan Rutherford when he introduced Mitt Rommney at Pancakes Eggcetera in Rosemont Illinois on March 16th 2012 of last year. He was the Chairman of the Romney Campaign here in Illinois. A few days later I met Dan Rutherford again on March 20th at the Renaissance Hotel in Schaumburg when Mitt Romney won the Illinois Primary. After Mitt had made his speech and the gathering was braking up I saw Dan Rutherford shaking hands with people. By this time I was extremely impressed with Dan Rutherford and how he managed Mitt’s campaign in the Illinois Primary. So I went up to him and said, “You did a great job,” and shook his hand.  It was an exciting night and I will never forget it.

A year has gone by and I found out that Dan Rutherford is going to be running for Governor here in Illinois. I can’t think of a better person to fill that office.

I got a letter in the mail saying that he would be at the Schaumburg Township Republican Breakfast. I really wanted to go. So instead of sleeping in on Saturday’s like I usually do, I set my alarm early enough this morning so I could get to the breakfast in time in order to meet him again and hear what he had to say. I was not disappointed. I even signed up as a member of the Schaumburg Township Republican Organization.

Well this is just the beginning and I am sure I’ll have more to say about what’s going on as time gets closer to the elections next year.
