Romney Won't Run for President in 2016

 

I am a Republican and have voted for Mitt Romney in the last two elections because I thought he would be the best person to run this country. I still believe that. But Holy Cow, what a blunder you are pulling on all of us. You are doing this country a disservice by not running. I don’t see any of the other Republican candidates being able to beat Hilary, unless the walls come tumbling down on her, which could happen but I doubt it. So it looks like we’re going to have another inapt Democrat running the country again. And that’s the way I see it.

Auschwitz 70th anniversary

Today is the 70^th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz

I would not be born for another 7 months. But that didn’t mean that I had never heard of it. I didn’t learn of the death camps until I got older and everybody started to get TV’s in their homes. 

 I couldn’t believe the pictures I had seen while growing up. I’m not Jewish and none of my family had been sent to the death camps, it’s just that it boggled my mind that people could do such things to other people.

  I never told anybody but I always wondered what it would be like to see Auschwitz. I was curious. Then the other day I came across the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum on my computer. They have a virtual tour. If you want to take a walk through the camp and get an idea of what it looks like without actually traveling there, then this is the place on your computer to go too. There is a mass of information and things that I never knew about. 

 After taking the virtual tour on my computer, I had nightmares for two nights in row. I thought about what all those people must have gone through.
